We started Cleaner Carolinas to fix a problem most businesses don't have the time or staff to solve themselves: the small, everyday litter that quietly drives customers away.

The Problem We Saw

Rundown areas keep people from shopping there

Litter-strewn parking lots, neglected medians, trash along retail corridors — these are the details that make people avoid a store or shopping center altogether. Think of the big-box lots and strip malls that feel unwelcoming not because of what's inside, but because of what's scattered outside. Businesses in these spots often want it fixed, but don't have a dedicated team or a system for staying on top of it.

We're building local cleanup teams alongside a database that helps us locate, prioritize, and track commercial areas across North and South Carolina that need attention — from a single littered lot to an ongoing property management plan. Our goal is simple: make it easier for people to enjoy the places they shop, work, and live.
